E, P, & D went to the closing night of the Rock & Worship Roadshow last night. One of the bands made a comment about meeting Moses in Heaven one day . . .
Bart Millard, lead vocalist for Mercy Me, made a statement that blew me away. He said, "One day I'm going to be in heaven and I'm going to walk up to Moses and say, 'Dude! Tell me, what was it like to part the Red Sea?!' And he will reply, 'No, no, no, you tell me, what is it like to have the presence of the living God inside you?!'" . . . The Patriarchs of history longed to see what we see, they experienced God as He came upon them, but never in them. The veil was not torn yet, the way had not yet been made to the Father. We have a privilege that the heroes of history longed for! We have the privilege to bear the presence of the Holy God! What an amazing gift. What a tremendous responsibility. As we bear His presence we display His grace, everyone we come in contact with can see His light shining through us. Let it shine!
